” What’s Google Adsense? ”
Google Adsense is a affilate system, you can place ads of google on your site and get money per click on the ads. They can serve you several ads, from link ads to banner ads, text ads; everything you’d like to have on your site.
” How does Google Adsense work, and why do they give away so much money? ”
Well, actually they earn a lot money too. Since there’s also something called Google Adwords, where people can give their ads for a x amount of money per click. Google uses these ads for Google Adsense and holds a part of the money theirself, and the rest they give to you for each click. So that’s why do it, they get rich of it self too! So; good for both sides.
” Where can I get started? ”
Just go to http://www.google.com/adsense/ , signup and you can get started direct after they’ve accepted your site!
ALERT: Make sure your site has some visitors/day and is active, with content, and not under construction. Also make sure you read their terms of conditions e.g. very carefully before using their ads, so you won’t get banned after only using it for 1 day yet! So be alert on these things before using Google Adsense.
